About Trailers Kent

Established in 1977 by Ian Montgomery on his discharge from REME (Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers) after 10yrs service as a Vehicle/Plant Engineer.

Site Services began making car transporter trailers in 1983 from a small facility in Sittingbourne (Ian's back garden) and expanded into a proper workshop in 1985. A mobile tow bar fitting service was started to complement the trailer business.

A recovery service and Mot testing facility was added in 1989 and Site Services changed its name to High Street Garage.

In March 2003 High Street Garage was sold as an MOT centre to a local car salesman from Sittingbourne.

Site Services reformed under a new name of Trailers Kent which is run from a new facility just outside Dover (Ian's Coach house) where we operate throughout Kent, East Sussex and South East London supplying trailers, renovating trailers, customising trailers, repairing trailers and hiring trailers for all kinds of vehicles.
